APGA Scholarship Essay Contest

PROMPT: Sports are not only about competition and victory but also about character, respect, and integrity. True sportsmanship is reflected in how individuals handle both success and failure. Winning gracefully and losing with dignity are essential qualities that show maturity, empathy, and respect for others. In an age where competition is everywhere—from sports and academics to careers—understanding the deeper meaning of sportsmanship has become more important than ever.
