Each year, the APGA community comes together to celebrate Founder Ken Bentley's birthday in a way that reflects the mission he helped build. Rather than focusing on gifts for himself, Ken invites friends, partners, donors, and supporters to give back to the APGA Foundation and help create opportunities for the next generation through the game of golf.
WHY WE CELEBRATE
When Ken Bentley helped found the APGA, the goal was to create greater access and opportunity for talented golfers who historically had fewer pathways to advance within the game.
What began as a small tour has grown into a broader mission that supports professional competition, player development, youth programming, scholarships, and educational opportunities.
Ken's Birthday Campaign gives the APGA community an opportunity to celebrate that vision by helping carry it forward.

In 2025, supporters helped raise $130,000 through the Ken Bentley Birthday Campaign. For 2026, our goal is to raise $150,000 and continue expanding the opportunities available to APGA players, young people, and student-athletes.

The Ken Bentley Birthday Campaign takes place annually from September 1 through October 15. During the campaign, supporters can make a gift, share the campaign with their networks, and help us celebrate Ken by investing in the future of the APGA.
